HELLO GOOD PEOPLE!!
"Warrior" by Robert Flack. 1990.
This time I decided two things before writing:
1) I will not write such a long thing.
2) I will be softer, less agressive.
If anyone read the whole thing last time they know that I was arguing that even though in Iceland we have a good healthcare system it is not without flaws and the staff many times have prejugdements towards HIV-positive individuals. But not only is it the attitude of the staff that could be better but also the system itself.
It is a known fact that if a person has been sexually assaulted and goes to the ER that same person should be given ANTI-RETROVIRUS MEDICINE (HIV-medicine). If a person gets these pills right away they are not in danger of receiving the HIV-virus. This is done in case that the person who assaulted them was by any chance HIV-positive.
This should be done in any country where there is a good healthcare system. Not everyone knows this.
I know from a friend of mine who lives in the UK that he has sometimes gone to get HIV-medicine if he has had unprotected sex. He goes to the ER and gets a dosis. This protects him from receiving the HIV-virus
if by any chance his sexual partner had been HIV-positive.
Here in Iceland that is not allowed. You have to have been raped to get HIV-medicine if you have "had unprotected sex".
That's it. That's all I wanted to say for now.
